From farm relationships to the coffee supply chain.

Our approach

The relationship is part of the product.

Most coffee moves through several layers of intermediaries before it reaches an exporter — each one taking a margin that never reaches the farmer. We built our sourcing model to skip that entirely: our team works directly with farmers across Karnataka, at their farms, on terms they understand and agree to upfront.

It's also why our certifications hold up under audit — Organic, Fair Trade, and Rainforest Alliance standards are easier to verify when the relationship between farm and exporter has no unaccounted-for steps in between.

Better relationships create better traceability.

The program

What partnershipactually includes.

Six commitments that apply to every partner farm in our network, regardless of size.

01

Agronomy training

Ongoing, hands-on training on sustainable cultivation, soil health, pest management, and yield practices — delivered on the farm, not in a classroom far from it.

02

Fair, direct pricing

Farmers are paid directly and fairly for what they grow, without the margin loss of layered middlemen between the farm gate and our estate.

03

Long-term partnership

Relationships built across seasons and years, not single-harvest transactions — so investment in better practices actually pays off for the farmer who makes it.

04

Certification support

We help partner farms meet the standards behind our certifications — Organic, Fair Trade, Rainforest Alliance — rather than asking them to certify alone.

05

Sustainable practices

Shade-grown cultivation, water management, and soil conservation practices that protect the land the next harvest depends on.

06

Transparent terms

Pricing, quality grading, and payment timelines are clear and consistent — no surprises at delivery, no renegotiation after the fact.

The process

How a partnership starts.

Four steps, all of them direct — no broker, no aggregator, no unnamed middle party.

01

Farm visit

Our team visits the farm directly to understand the land, the crop, and what support would actually help.

Beyond the harvest

We visit the farmswe buy from.

Our team spends time on partner farms throughout the season — not just at harvest — because a real partnership means knowing the land and the people working it, not just the lot number on a shipment.
